RESULTS: SQSA Sprint Series, Lake Cootharaba 20-21 Nov 2020
Congratulations to all the sailors who competed in the SQSA Sprint Regatta and training day at Lake Cootharaba 20-21 November 2020.
We had great conditions for both days. Below are some pictures from the training day on Saturday and the results from Sunday’s racing.
One of the many highlights of the weekend was the parent’s vs coach race on Saturday. Mitch Kennedy convincingly took the win with Andrew Barney in second and Quentin Palmer in third. Check out the video below!
It was the kids turn on Sunday and 14 sabots were on the water for eight sprint races around a tight course.
- 1-up sailors completed Course 3 (Triangle + Windward return to finish)
- 2-up sailors completed Course 1 (Triangle to finish)
Kelson Eaton in Kelson’s Boat narrowly won the 1-up sailing division, with younger brother Laken Eaton hot on his heels. India and Hunter Phelps won the 2-up trophy in Smooth Operator.
